IRCC survey for Ukrainian temporary residents: how to recognize the invitation

October 9, 20262 min readCanada Immigration Advisory

IRCC is inviting selected Ukrainian temporary residents to an October 2026 survey. Check the sender, survey link, languages and whether participation affects applications.

Who might receive an invitation?

IRCC announced on October 7, 2026 that randomly selected Ukrainian temporary residents in Canada may receive an email survey invitation. This includes people who applied under the Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel (CUAET). The survey runs in October.

Is the survey mandatory?

No. Participation is voluntary and confidential. Choosing to take part or decline does not affect past, current or future immigration applications.

How can I recognize the official email?

  • The sender listed by IRCC is noreply@cic.gc.ca.
  • The survey address begins with https://ircc.qualtrics.com/jfe/form.
  • It takes approximately 15-20 minutes and is available in English, French, Ukrainian and Russian.

Why is IRCC collecting feedback?

IRCC wants to understand client experiences, expectations and intentions after arrival or an extension of stay, including under special measures for Ukrainians.

Unsure about a message?

Open the official notice independently and compare the details before following a link. If you need help with a separate immigration matter, use our usual contact form rather than sending documents in response to an unfamiliar message.

Want this applied to your own case?

General guidance only. Your circumstances decide what actually applies, and the first conversation is free.
