Why this is different
Nepali applicants face a specific set of practical problems that a generic immigration firm will discover on your file rather than before it. Transcripts from Tribhuvan University and its affiliated campuses need to be requested and sealed in a particular way. Job titles common in Nepal often do not map cleanly onto Canada's occupation codes. Bank documentation has to satisfy both your bank and IRCC.
None of this is difficult once you have done it several times. It is expensive to learn on your own application, which is usually where the delay comes from.
The routes that work for Nepal.
Ordered roughly by how often we use them, not by how they are marketed.
The most common Nepali route by a wide margin. Study in Canada, move to a post-graduation work permit, then use that Canadian experience for the Canadian Experience Class or a provincial stream. It is slower than direct PR but the acceptance bar is lower and the end result is the same status.
Direct permanent residence with no job offer required. Realistic where your language results are strong; a Nepali applicant with CLB 9 and a bachelor's degree is genuinely competitive. The lever that moves most Nepali profiles is the language test, not more experience.
Adds 600 CRS points and is often the difference for a profile in the 400s. Which province is right depends entirely on your occupation, not on where you have heard of.
Work first, then convert Canadian experience into permanent residence. We verify the employer and the LMIA before you commit, because this is the route where Nepali applicants are most often targeted by fraud.
If you have a close relative who is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, sponsorship may be simpler and cheaper than any economic route.

Getting Nepali credentials assessed
Most economic programs need an Educational Credential Assessment showing what your Nepali qualification is worth in Canada. Assessments are issued by designated organisations, and each has its own process for requesting transcripts directly from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu University, Pokhara University or Purbanchal. Requesting documents in the correct sealed format the first time typically saves weeks.
Language testing in Nepal
Approved English tests are widely available in Kathmandu and Pokhara, and language is almost always the highest-return improvement for a Nepali profile. Moving up one band can be worth more points than several additional years of work experience, and it takes weeks rather than years.
Police certificates
You will need a police clearance from Nepal, and from any other country where you have lived six months or more, including Gulf states if you have worked there. Certificates have a limited useful life, so timing matters: obtained too early they expire, too late and they hold up your submission.
Proof of funds
Settlement funds must be genuinely available to you and evidenced over a period, not deposited the week before you file. Where funds are held across family accounts, or where foreign exchange rules affect how money can be moved, that needs planning well before submission.
Getting your occupation classified correctly
Nepali job titles frequently do not match Canadian occupation codes, and the code decides which programs are open to you. We classify from your actual duties and your reference letters, not from your job title, because an incorrect code is one of the most costly errors on an application.
Documents in Nepali
Anything not in English or French needs certified translation alongside the original. Names must be consistent across passport, academic records and employment letters. Mismatched name formats are a common and entirely avoidable source of delay.

Nepal questions we hear often
No. You can work with us directly from anywhere, and the entire process runs remotely. If you do use a local agent, check that whoever is actually giving immigration advice is authorised to do so and verify it on the regulator's public register yourself.
It is usually a lower initial bar, not an easier overall path. A study permit requires genuine funds and a credible study plan, and it commits you to tuition. What it does offer is a realistic staged route for younger applicants whose score is not yet competitive for direct permanent residence.
It is the single most important variable, and the most fixable. For most Nepali applicants we assess, an improvement in language results is worth more points than any other change available to them, and it can usually be achieved in a couple of months of focused preparation.
Treat any guarantee of a visa as a reason to walk away, never pay for a job offer, and be sceptical of anyone asking for large cash payments without a written agreement. Verify that your representative is authorised, and insist that fees and services are documented before you pay anything.
