The short version
The Provincial Nominee Program has run since 1998 and is now the leading route into Canada for skilled workers. Because immigration is a shared federal and provincial responsibility, provinces can select the people their own economies need.
Each province publishes its own streams, occupation lists, and score thresholds. They change often. Picking a province because you have heard of it, rather than because its streams match your occupation, is the most common and most expensive mistake we correct.

Applied for directly with the province, then processed federally. Slower, but open to candidates who are not competitive in the Express Entry pool.
Occupation-driven
Streams target the trades, health, technology, and agriculture roles each province is short of. Your NOC code decides your best province.

Common questions
There is no universally easiest province. The right answer depends on your occupation, language ability, work experience, and any existing ties. A stream that is generous to a welder may be closed to a marketing manager.
You must genuinely intend to settle there when you apply, and you should plan to build your life there. Permanent residents have mobility rights once they land, but applying to a province you never intend to live in is misrepresentation.
Rules vary by province and stream, and some prohibit concurrent applications. We check the current rules before filing so you do not jeopardise an application.
